SAT scores are valid for 5 years, I believe, possibly more even. They should be valid for as long as you’ll need to apply for a bachelor level degree in the US.
The SAT does have a correction factor- if you answer a multiple-choice question wrong, you’ll get a negative 1/4 mark taken off. This ensures the expected value for guessing randomly is 0, so it’s better to leave questions blank then guess if you’re not sure at all.
