I’ll have to take up the SAT Subject Test.Though,I am not sure about this. Can anyone guide me.Also,I need to know what subjects I need to prepare for Computer Engineering.

Please,Help me Out.

Thanks in advance.

For engineering in general most universities require maths level II along with physics and/or chemistry….you should check with individual universities to see what they require…

I would agree with djm that you would have to take math 1 or/ and 2. But definitely take math 2. You should also consider physics. I don’t think u need to take chem. That’s just a completely different thing. Collegeboard.com is a good website to check out the necessary sat subject test u need to take according to your major and the universities/colleges u would be looking forward to applying to. Also do not forget to take the SAT. Most colleges dont require the sat subject test but they do require the SAT. Your primary priority is the SAT and then the SAT 2

hi, I m Rehma. I joined this site today. I live in USA. if u want to peruse engineering here, then u have to take SAT reasoning. So check out the university sites in order to check what are there score requirements. Score requirements vary from school to school. All schools do not require SAT subject tests. Moreover, there is an alternate for SAT which is called ACT. you can check www.actstudents.com. All four years colleges accept ACT.I took both and I will suggest you to take both. I took ACT yesterday and I personally think that it is easier than SAT. U should take it more than once no matter whtever u take. All the best.

Engineering and Medicine have long been the two most sought after careers for the students. However, these days engineering seems to be gaining ground. Students find engineering easy compared to medicine. Four years of engineering study at a reputed college fetches you a decent job or you might choose to go abroad for higher studies. Choosing medicine as a career requires five years of basic medical study. You have to do a post graduate specialisation that requires another three years. Preferably, you must also go in for super-specialisation after that.
