How much I have to score to get into DREXEL UNIVERSITY?
According to information from the CollegeBoard, your reading score should be 530-630 and your math score has to be between 560-670, since this is where 50% of applicants lie. If you’re above this, you shouldn’t have any troubles getting in, and you may still get in if you’re below this range if you have good recommendations, a high average, extracurriclars, etc.
Also keep in mind that you may need to take the TOEFL test if you’re applying to certain programs, you can find more information here.
how much I have to score in SAT exam to get into drexel university??/
Here’s the information from the Drexel University website:
“Standardized Test Scores
All applicants (except as indicated below) may take the SAT or the TOEFL if your native language is not English. International applicants with both SAT and TOEFL scores are considered more competitive candidates. Results must be forwarded to Undergraduate Admissions. All students should use the following codes to send score reports to Drexel: SAT 2194 or ACT 3556.
All Nursing ACE, BSN Co-op, and RN-BSN Degree Completion applicants must complete the TOEFL iBT if you were born outside of the United States, regardless of citizenship, native language, or location of degree-granting institutions. If you took the TOEFL prior to the implementation of the TOEFL iBT, you will be required to take the TSE. A TOEFL examination waiver may be granted if you have eight years of consecutive education (preferably high school and postsecondary) in the United States and if you have a passing score on the TSE examination or TSE equivalent examination offered at the Drexel University English Language Center. You must provide necessary documentation in the form of official transcripts and test scores.
Transfer Students: If you have completed 24 or more college credits you are not required to submit standardized test scores. Otherwise, you must take either the SAT or ACT and request that the results be forwarded to Undergraduate Admissions. All students should use the following codes to send score reports to Drexel: SAT 2194 or ACT 3556.”
Go to the Drexel website for more details.
And as mentioned above, scoring over 530 in the reading section and 560 in the math section on the SAT should be good enough to get into Drexel.
For MIT, 50% of admitted applicants scored 660-760 in the reading section, 720-800 in the math (!) and 660-750 in the writing sections. If you’re anywhere in that range or above, you’re good. For more info check out this lesson
That’s a good question, and this would depend on the individual school. Some schools require you to take either one of the TOEFL or SAT, some schools prefer both.
If you’ve already taken the TOEFL and did well, you’ll be a more competitive candidate after you’ve taken your SATs, but certain schools may accept you without the SAT.
So in terms of which one is more important, I’d say it’s usually better to have both. For US schools the SAT may be a bit more important, and for non-US schools the TOEFL is certainly more important since they don’t care about SAT most of the time.
