How and when should one start preparing for SAT ? From where can I get the books (if any) ?
Ideally, you should start preparing for the SAT a few months (or at least a few good weeks) before you intend to take the test. This would usually be late in grade 11 or very early in grade 12. You can order prep books online or find them in resource centers. However, to start studying you don’t really need books- you’ve got LearnHub!
For the first step, make sure to read the basic lessons like breakdown of the SAT, SAT registration, Scoring, etc. That way you’ll know what the SAT includes and you can start figuring out what you have to study.
Then, check out the various SAT lessons that pertain to the topics you need to work on- from the math section to reading and writing, we’ve got it all. When you’re ready for some good practice, take a few tests to check your comprehension.
When you’re ready, enter the Question Bank and check our hundreds of great practice questions that’ll help you prepare for the SAT.
This should get you going with great resources for the SAT. If you have any questions, post them in our discussions, and somebody will get to them pretty quickly.
Good luck on the SAT!
